Emptiness is giving God more room to fill us with His will! We have all of God in us...but until we let go of our wants things stay still. lol

Enjoy Durham! Can't wait to hear your "new" stories!

This is so true and a feeling I share with you. I’ve started to call it a phase I’m going through with decluttering and downsizing.

I’m in the same home; yet while things are leaving I’m happy with the space that’s left. I feel these open spaces are giving me the freedom to breathe and enjoy simplicity at its best.

I no longer feel I need all these things taking up space.

I imagine with your move to Charlotte, you’re experiencing this in a much deeper way knowing a big change of complete space is just around the corner.

I’m thrilled for you Chaye, but I also know letting go is hard at times. May you find peace with everything you release.

Thank you so much for this. I love the way you described the open spaces as giving you freedom to breathe. That’s exactly what I’m beginning to appreciate too. There’s something wonderfully freeing about realizing we don’t have to fill every space, physically or otherwise.

And yes, letting go can be hard, especially when some of what we’re releasing carries memories and pieces of who we’ve been. But I’m finding there’s also something beautiful about making room for what comes next, without rushing to decide exactly what that has to be.

I’m actually moving to Durham. 😊 But you’re absolutely right that knowing such a big change is ahead has made all of this feel even more meaningful.

Thank you for sharing this with me, and especially for that beautiful wish for peace with everything I release. I’m wishing the same for you as you continue making space of your own. ❤️
